I started carving in 1981. In 1986, I boxed up my tools to remain in storage for the next 29 years. Upon my retirement in 2015, I set up my studio once more and began carving again. For the last 6 years I've continued to develop my craft. I've participated in various art and Decoy Shows, and my duck entries have earned a total of 37 ribbons. Most recently we won first and third Best of Show at the 2019 Ohio Decoy Show and Best of Show at the Wisconsin Waterfowl Association in 2019.
