I began carving birds about thirty years ago, I am self taught and still learning with each carving I do. Being able to take a block of wood and finding a bird or animal hidden inside keeps me motivated. I retired in 2005 and now have the time to do a little more carving. I make my home in Teays Valley W.Va. with my wife Karen.
