Hello, my name is Jimmy Autin.
I was raised in Buras La. (Plaquemines Parish) most of my life growing up on the Mississippi River and Louisiana marshland. A charter committee member of the Plaquemines Parish Ducks Unlimited Chapter and a recently retried oil & gas professional now residing in McKinney Texas.
As an avid hunter and fisherman I enjoyed working with my hands at a early age. Carved decoys for many years but now enjoy building replica models of vintage hunting boats. Attached are a few examples of my work. These are "scratch" built models, "no kits" that I create one piece at a time using only old photographs as reference.
My boats were featured in September 2014 issue of "Woods-N-Water News magazine and can also been seen in the Ducks Unlimited Waterfowl Heritage Museum in Nashville Tennessee at the "Pyramid".
I list these on eBay from time to time and my seller name is – the-marketgunner
