Daniel "feathers" Montano

 I started carving in 1987. National City Junior High, here in San Diego county, Taught by Arnie Erwin. Been carving on and off since then. I've only carved about 40 birds since I started..not many at all. Anyhow, Married to my wife Annie and have two boys, Dannie and Julian. I'm a decorative life size carver as well as a Palm frond Carver. I have a full time job and carve after hours when I can. Have won numerous awards with my fronds and hope to win a championship some day.
